Umrah holds a deeply personal place in my journey as a Muslim. Since embracing Islam in 2009, my faith has continued to be a journey of learning, growth and returning to Allah.
For me, visiting Makkah and Madinah is not simply about travelling to another place. It is an opportunity to step away from everyday life, reflect on what truly matters and reconnect with my faith. Standing in the presence of the Ka’bah and spending time in the sacred cities brings a perspective that is difficult to put into words.
My own journey has had its ups and downs. I have made mistakes, learned from them and had to keep moving forward. Umrah reminds me that faith is not about being perfect; it is about continuing to turn back to Allah and striving to become better.
That is one of the reasons I care about helping others experience Umrah. Whether someone is travelling for the first time, returning with family or simply beginning to explore what the pilgrimage means, I want them to feel welcomed, supported and able to focus on the spiritual purpose of the journey.
For me, Umrah is a reminder of why I became Muslim in the first place — to seek the truth, draw closer to Allah and continue learning throughout my journey.
